Day 1
Tbilisi - tour covers most highlights of the city, old and new parts, includes a bit walking and Georgian national museum – the national treasury. First destination of City tour in Tbilisi is modern Trinity cathedral. It was built in 1995 – 2004 in celebration of 2000 years from Jesus birth and 1500 years of Georgian church autocephaly. It’s the biggest church in Georgia – it’s height from bottom to top is 86,1 meters. Actually, Trinity is whole complex, where are 9 churches, and other buildings, like theological seminary, museum, conference hall, etc. Complex is Located on the hill Elia, from where is good view over the whole city. Next stop is at Metekhi plateau, from where is perfect panoramic view to the old city – Narikala fortressBath districtMeidanKala districtBetlemi district – so tourists can have a look at the all old city, which they will explore next in the few hours. Here stands the statue of king Vakhang Gorgasali – founder of Tbilisi, and tourists will learn about history of the city. Narikala fortress – ancient fortress on the hill with impressive view. The fortress consists of two walled sections on a steep hill between the sulfur baths and the botanical gardens of Tbilisi. On the lower court there is the recently restored St Nicholas church. From here walk to Bath district, and pass Tbilisi mosque. Abanotubani – district of natural hot sulfide bathes. Abanotubani is an important historic part of the city — the place, where according to a legend the King of Iberia, Vakhtang Gorgasali’s falcon fell, leading to a discovery of the hot springs and, subsequently, to founding of a new capital. Walk to Meidan – the center of old Tbilisi and walk towards trade and craft district of the city – in Tbilisi were 18 Karavan-sarays – kind of hotel for traveler traders. Here they were living and on the first floor selling their goods. Such Karavan-Sarais – in Georgian Karvasla – were spread in whole middle east and are predecessors of modern trade malls. Tourists will see couple of them. It is modern Shardeni street and its surroundings. Here several surprises are expecting tourists. Sioni Cathedral is situated in historic Sionis Kucha (Sioni Street) in downtown Tbilisi, with its eastern facade fronting the right embankment of the Mtkvari River. It was initially built in the 5th century. Since then, it has been destroyed by foreign invaders and reconstructed several times. The current church is based on a 12th-century version with some changes from the 17th to 19th centuries. Drive to National Art museum, where is National Treasury exhibition. After visiting museum drive via Baratashvili avenue – one of the central avenues of the city, where are kept remains of the city walls. Anchiskhati church of VI century, one of the oldest buildings of Tbilisi. Tower clock – modern bizarre tower built by head of puppet theater – Rezo Gabriadze became favorite attraction for local people and tourists. New bridge of Peace – modern walking bridge only for walking in the heart of the old city. Good place to make good photos. Liberty square – central square of the modern city. statue of st. George in the center and buildings of XIX and XX centuries around. Rustaveli avenue – the heart of modern Tbilisi. Most part of avenue is built in the second half of XIX century, but there are buildings of XX and XIX centuries too. Here is located Opera house, Several theaters, many cafes and shops. Avenue ends at Rustaveli square. David Agmashenebeli avenue on the left bank of river Mtkvari.
Day 2

Vashlovani and Signagi day tour takes place in south Kakheti, small historical region known as Kiziki. First our destination will be town Dedoplistskaro, where is located Vashlovani national park visitors center.  National park’s main attractions are pretty far from the town, but we will visit two important places, located very close from town – Eagle canyon, with it’s amazing views to Alazani valley. In different seasons it has different attractions. This place is loved by birdwatchers. Also in spring you can enjoy many different colored flowers.

Khornabuji fortress used to have strategically very important place. It belongs to V century. Fortress is located on the steep rock and looks very impressive in all weather conditions. It is very hard to climb it.

The next destination will be Bodbe nunnery. Place where saint Nino of Kabadokia, one of the most respected saints in Georgia had passed away. Nunnery is located near Signagi, in beautiful place. The main church is dated by XI century and has very interesting medieval wall paintings.

The last destination will be cozy late medieval town Signagi. Optionally we will recommend to eat lunch and taste wine at famous Okro’s winery.  Here you will try finest Kakhetian organic wines and the best food in region, also enjoy fantastic view from terrace.  Signagi is wonderful and romantic town to walk in its narrow streets. Optionally is possible to visit local museum, where is collection of paintings of famous Georgian painter Niko Pirosmani.


Day 3
Telavi is one of the oldest towns in Georgia, it was firstly mentioned in the Ist century AD. It is a modern cozy town with the population of 20 thousand people. It is quite attractive among tourists who visit this region to get acquainted with the ancient traditions of Georgian winemaking, explore the wine cellars and factories, taste different varieties of the famous Kakhetian wines. A special honor has Telavi Wine Cellar, located near Telavi. The town is also famous for its natural attractions and architectural monuments. A real natural “masterpiece” is an amazing Alazani Valley which you can admire from different corners of Telavi. In the center, you can visit an ancient fortress Batonis-Tsikhe, as well as the castle of the great Georgian king and commander Irakli II. There is also another no less amazing attraction in the center of the town – the oldest tree in Georgia, 800-year-old sycamore.  
Day 4
Return to Tbilisi. Free time. End of tour.
